Waitress / Captain

About the Role

We are looking for a service-minded and professional Waitress or Captain to join the Food & Beverage team of a 4-star hotel located in Dubai, UAE. The role involves delivering top-tier dining experiences with attentive and courteous service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable hospitality experience.

Key Duties

• Greet and assist guests warmly and professionally.
• Accurately take food and drink orders from guests.
• Deliver food and beverages in alignment with hotel standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and beverages offered.
• Offer informed recommendations and cater to guest needs with professionalism.
• Keep service areas and tables clean, orderly, and properly arranged throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and colleagues to maintain smooth service flow.
• Manage guest complaints or concerns diplomatically and escalate to supervisors when needed.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety regulations as well as hotel policies.
• Assist broader Food & Beverage team tasks as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior work experience as a Waitress in hotel or restaurant settings.
• Experience within 4-star or 5-star hotel environments preferred.
• Well-versed in food and beverage service protocols.
• Strong communication and excellent customer service aptitude.
• Professional appearance paired with a friendly and positive demeanor.
• Capable of performing efficiently under fast-paced service conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: AED 1,000 for Waitress role, AED 1,800 for Captain role.
• Meal allowance amounting to AED 200.
• Service charge provided as applicable.
