About the Company

Daikan Izakaya, located at City Walk and known for exquisite Japanese cuisine, is looking for an energetic Food Runner to become a key member of their team. This important position focuses on ensuring that guests receive their meals promptly and correctly, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly and accurately transport food and drinks from the kitchen to assigned tables, verifying order correctness and proper presentation.
• Work in close coordination with kitchen staff and servers to manage food orders and share information about special requests or allergies.
• Support table upkeep by clearing and resetting as necessary, ensuring a welcoming and tidy dining space.
• Engage courteously with guests to verify satisfaction with their meals and provide excellent service.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the food pickup area while ensuring necessary supplies are stockpiled.
• Observe all health and food safety protocols related to handling and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a foodservice role such as a food runner or server is required.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
• Capability to perform well in a fast-moving work environment.
