Food & Consumables Team Associate

Position Overview

The Food and Consumables Team Associate delivers exceptional customer service aligned with Walmart's core beliefs and values. This role involves maintaining and organizing the food and consumables section, assisting with merchandise stocking, and supporting sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the department to ensure shelves, tables, and storage areas are tidy and products are correctly placed.
• Perform regular stock rotation and inspect items for expiration dates.
• Ensure all merchandise is appropriately priced and labeled.
• Follow stringent standards and company policies related to cold chain management, thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling, product rotation, and tracking sell-by and expiration dates.
• Execute proper procedures for ordering, clearance, price adjustments (markups/markdowns), and applying correct signage or labels.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.80 per hour. (Le taux horaire minimum pour ce poste débute à 18.80.)

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
