Role Summary
The Floor Manager role, based in Al Ain, is a full-time, on-site position responsible for managing daily front-of-house activities. Key duties include supervising the service team, organizing table assignments, and ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous, and accurate service. The manager oversees the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, addresses guest feedback and complaints, and supports the opening and closing procedures. Collaboration with kitchen and management teams is essential to maintain smooth operations, manage reservations and walk-in customers, and assist in implementing promotional campaigns and service improvements. Additional responsibilities include shift scheduling, aiding in training initiatives, and monitoring key performance indicators.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience managing restaurant floors or similar hospitality roles, including team supervision and front-of-house coordination.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities to foster positive guest relations.
- Competence in shift management, task prioritization, and upholding cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-pressure hospitality setting with meticulous attention to detail and efficiency focus.
- Basic administrative proficiency, including computer skills for scheduling and reporting tasks.
- Previous employment or familiarity with healthy dining, casual dining, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods and work flexible schedules, encompassing evenings and weekends as required.
- Relevant hospitality or management qualifications or certifications are considered a plus.
