Job Overview
Abri is looking to hire a skilled Floor Layer to work within their housing maintenance and refurbishment team based in Eastleigh. This is a permanent, full-time position where the successful candidate will be accountable for installing, servicing, and replacing a variety of flooring materials across the company's residential properties, upholding superior quality for residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and repair floor surfaces, and install diverse flooring types including vinyl, safety flooring, carpet tiles, and linoleum.
- Take accurate measurements on site and perform floor leveling along with surface preparation tasks.
- Ensure safety protocols are observed and maintain high standards of craftsmanship in all projects within local residential areas.
- Manage inventory in the company van and properly maintain company tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Demonstrable hands-on experience working as a Floor Layer.
- Possession of a valid full UK Driving Licence to operate the company vehicle.
- Strong practical aptitude with great attention to detail.
