Flagger II

About the Role

Join Ansco & Associates, LLC as a Flagger II, where you will play a key role in maintaining safe traffic flow in areas with active worksites by performing traffic control and flagging tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage traffic through complex work zones using hand signals and paddles.
• Set up flags, cones, signs, and other markers to guide traffic.
• Assist with general construction tasks under the direction of supervisors.
• Provide training to other flaggers as necessary.
• Drive company vehicles responsibly and adhere to safe driving policies.
• Comply with local, state, and federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all vehicles and equipment.
• Work in various weather conditions as required.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
• Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
• Hold a valid state driver’s license (non-provisional) with a satisfactory driving record.
• Have at least one year of previous experience in flagging.

Physical Demands

• Regularly work independently in remote locations and operate vehicles.
• Perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting 10-25 pounds, and fine hand motions like keyboard and mouse use.
• Occasionally lift between 26 and 55 pounds, work with arms raised above shoulder level, and climb stairs.
