Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Maintenance Technician based in Blanchardstown, Ballycoolin Business Park, Dublin. This role involves servicing and maintaining sprinkler and fire pump systems, troubleshooting fire water pump rooms, and liaising with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation and maintenance as experienced sprinkler pipe fitters.
• Service fire pumps and their drive systems effectively.
• Troubleshoot issues in Fire Water Pump Rooms.
• Travel flexibly to project sites as required.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of various sprinkler systems.
• Operate independently as well as lead teams when necessary.
• Drive confidently with a full drivers’ license.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Drain and refill sprinkler systems competently.
• Manage operation of fire pumps and associated fire alarms.
• Interpret and plan work from sprinkler system drawings.
• Apply knowledge of LPC and FM sprinkler standards and rules.

Essential Requirements

• Hold Safe Pass and manual handling certifications.
• Proven experience as sprinkler pipe fitter.
• Adaptability to travel frequently.
• Ability to operate independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction.
• Capacity to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Hold a National Craft Certificate.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours when needed.
