Overview
Join a respected and expanding financial advisory firm dedicated to providing tailored, high-quality guidance that helps clients meet their financial objectives. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and technically skilled financial planning professional eager to collaborate with seasoned advisors in crafting strategic financial advice solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support advisers throughout the entire advice process including strategy formulation, research, financial modeling, and drafting client advice documents.
- Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and client review materials ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Undertake detailed research across various financial planning disciplines.
- Develop and maintain financial models, projections, and advice-related calculations.
- Assist with portfolio construction and conduct investment research.
- Perform insurance needs analysis and help with policy investigations.
- Coordinate with advisers, clients, and external parties to gather necessary information.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced tertiary education in Financial Planning, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business, or a similar field.
- Comprehensive understanding of superannuation, investment management, retirement planning, taxation, and insurance strategies.
- Exceptional written communication abilities capable of producing detailed and compliant financial advice documents.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial planning software and technology.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
