Financial Analyst

Overview

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this full-time position seeks a Financial Analyst passionate about leveraging numerical data to guide strategic business choices. The candidate will be instrumental in delivering insightful financial analysis, constructing detailed financial models, and aiding leadership via evidence-based recommendations.

Key Duties

• Generate and scrutinize comprehensive financial reports on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals.
• Create and sustain models that inform strategic plans and investment evaluations.
• Compile annual budgets and conduct routine financial forecasting.
• Perform variance analyses contrasting actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Assess revenue streams, operating expenses, gross margins, and profitability by business segment.
• Track financial metrics to detect trends, risks, and potential growth avenues.
• Conduct cost studies and suggest operational efficiency improvements and expense optimization initiatives.
• Prepare cash flow prognostications and assist in managing working capital.
• Design and oversee financial KPIs and dashboards for executive review.
• Appraise financial viability of new ventures, projects, and business initiatives.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closings with analytical reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Procurement to maintain accurate financial data.
• Prepare presentations and detailed executive reports for leadership review.
• Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity, and uniformity.
• Provide support for both internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
• Maintain awareness of evolving financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar discipline.
• Three to five years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or comparable roles.
• Strong analytical abilities, expertise in financial modeling, and adeptness at problem-solving.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
• Experience with ERP platforms and business intelligence tools considered advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while juggling multiple tasks.
• Professional credentials like ACCA or ICAEW are highly valued.
