Role Overview

The role of FP&A Analyst offers a stimulating opportunity within the Corporate Planning team. This position merges responsibilities related to financial planning and analysis with active participation in business improvement and digital enablement projects. The successful candidate will engage with senior management and multiple market stakeholders, gaining regional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes for both Singapore and regional subsidiaries.
• Compile and prepare financial reports and submissions for the Head Office.
• Contribute to monthly financial closing procedures and management reporting requirements.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing budgets against actual results and offer insights into business performance.
• Maintain models that track budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Perform detailed financial analysis, business performance assessments, and produce ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Partner with various departments and business stakeholders to collect, validate, and assess relevant data.
• Support management in decision-making via financial evaluations and analytic reviews.
• Monitor financial risks and identify opportunities across assigned business sectors.
• Engage in digital transformation by participating in workflow digitisation and process enhancement initiatives.
• Support projects related to automation, dashboard creation, and improvement of reporting tools.
• Assist in the integration and adoption of AI, Business Intelligence, and data analytics solutions.
• Contribute to financial reporting and audit support by preparing reconciliations, audit schedules, support documents, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is required.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting.
• Solid understanding of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Highly detail-focused, with the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Able and comfortable to work within a diverse regional and multicultural environment.
