Application Developer (iOS and Android)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our Riyadh-based team. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative, user-friendly solutions that improve business processes and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and support mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.
• Develop clean, scalable, and effective code consistent with development standards.
• Partner with UI/UX designers to guarantee a smooth and engaging user interface.
• Perform unit testing, identify issues, and resolve bugs promptly.
• Analyze and refine codebases to optimize app performance and reliability.
• Ensure compatibility across a range of devices and platforms.
• Engage with project managers and stakeholders to fully understand project requirements and adhere to timelines.
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to extend functionality.
• Maintain application security standards and comply with data protection regulations.
• Participate actively in agile development processes to produce quality software solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with latest trends and advances in application development technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as an application developer or in a relevant capacity.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with database systems including SQL and Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile and Waterfall is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud application development platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with iOS and Android app development is a plus.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
