NetSuite Techno-Functional Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Techno-Functional Developer capable of managing both the functional configuration and technical development aspects within NetSuite. This role involves collaboration with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and IT teams to deliver comprehensive NetSuite solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret business needs and convert them into effective NetSuite implementations.
• Configure various NetSuite components including modules, workflows, forms, user roles, and permissions.
• Develop and sustain SuiteScript 2.x based customizations.
• Utilize different script types including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, and Suitelet scripts.
• Build and maintain RESTlets, REST/SOAP APIs, and system integrations.
• Design and manage Saved Searches, Reports, Dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business operations.
• Support processes in Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing domains.
• Create integrations with point-of-sale systems, e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, logistics, and other external systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with functional features, scripts, APIs, integrations, and data quality.
• Assist with data migration efforts, including CSV imports, system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment to production environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
• Offer ongoing user support and proactively seek opportunities to automate workflows and optimize processes.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Strong proficiency with Oracle NetSuite platform.
• Experience in SuiteScript 2.x and JavaScript for customization and development.
• Expertise in SuiteFlow for workflow automation.
• Competence in SuiteAnalytics for creating Saved Searches.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, RESTlets, and SuiteTalk for system integration.
• Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.
• Customization experience within NetSuite environment.
• Basic understanding of SQL for data querying.
• Skills in troubleshooting API and integration issues.
• Solid understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, and Manufacturing business processes.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience working in Retail, Food & Beverage, Restaurants, Franchise operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, or companies with multiple branches is desirable but not essential.

Educational Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar disciplines is required.

An autonomous Techno-Functional NetSuite expert capable of handling all phases from requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, development, integration, testing, deployment, through to support. The role necessitates a well-rounded individual proficient across both technical and functional areas rather than specializing exclusively in one.
