Field Verification Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent Field Verification Officer to join our team in Singapore. This role involves conducting on-site visits and telephone checks to authenticate residential addresses, employment statuses, educational credentials, and related documentation. The successful candidate should be prepared to travel across Singapore, interact professionally with individuals and businesses, and accurately document verification outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physical visits to residential and commercial locations for address confirmation.
• Verify employment information through visits to workplaces or company offices as necessary.
• Conduct verification of educational qualifications and documents.
• Execute phone-based checks with pertinent parties or organizations.
• Collect precise data and identify inconsistencies during the verification process.
• Use mobile apps to capture photographs and other evidence in the field.
• Accurately log verification outcomes and detailed case information into the system.
• Produce clear and timely verification reports.
• Report any inaccurate, incomplete, suspicious, or ambiguous data promptly to the Operations Team.
• Guarantee confidentiality and protect sensitive personal and employment information.
• Adhere to defined verification protocols and operational standards.
• Manage assigned verification cases autonomously and ensure completion within set deadlines.

Requirements

• Between 1 and 4 years of relevant experience in fields such as Field Verification, Background Screening, Banking, Telecommunications, Collections, Field Sales, or Investigations.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Singapore for fieldwork.
• Possession of a valid Singapore driving license and ownership of a personal vehicle is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using smartphones, mobile applications, and online reporting platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English; knowledge of additional local languages is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
