Field Verification Officer

About the Role

Helios Systems Asia is seeking Field Verification Officers based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to support their verification process. The position requires conducting verification through field visits and phone checks mainly for residential addresses, employment data, education credentials, and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customer or employee locations to confirm address details.
• Verify employment information by visiting involved workplaces when necessary.
• Participate in education and document verifications.
• Conduct verification calls to relevant contacts.
• Gather precise information and photographic evidence during fieldwork using mobile apps.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates of verification cases in the system.
• Generate thorough reports and communicate discrepancies or unclear information to operations personnel.
• Keep all handled data confidential and comply with privacy norms.
• Adhere to established verification guidelines, quality norms, and complete assignments independently within deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 1 to 4 years' experience in field verification, banking, telecom, collections, sales, investigation, or background verification-related fields.
• Possess at least a bachelor's degree.
• Willing to travel locally within Colombo and neighboring areas.
• Preference for candidates with their own vehicle and valid driving license.
• Familiarity with smartphones, mobile apps, and reporting software.
• Proficiency in Sinhala and/or Tamil; basic English communication skills are advantageous.
• Ability to operate independently and interact professionally with various stakeholders.

Additional Information
