Job Overview
As a Field Technician, you will be primarily accountable for maintaining near-perfect customer uptime of 99.99%. Your role includes ensuring that network switches operate within established standards and delivering prompt connectivity support to various cross-functional teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the network database and periodically report findings to the reporting manager.
- Respond to customer complaints onsite and provide timely resolutions within stipulated turnaround times.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues by analyzing and troubleshooting complaints.
- Monitor the Network Management System (NMS) using appropriate applications and take suitable action based on network events.
- Analyze recurring issues and enforce corrective actions, escalating problems when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and cardinal operational rules.
- Ensure full compliance with prescribed processes and procedures.
- Offer structured feedback and recommendations to management aimed at delivering long-term improvements in service quality.
