Job description
Job Overview
Step forward in your retail merchandising career by joining us full-time to support in-store execution for a leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) client. This role involves a variety of merchandising activities, from stocking shelves to creating eye-catching displays and ensuring planogram compliance to maintain product availability.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute in-store merchandising actions in line with planograms and schematic designs, including shelf resets.
- Strategically plan coverage and set priorities by reviewing objectives, previous call follow-ups, and assembling necessary tools to meet deadlines.
- Maintain promotional displays, identify merchandising opportunities, remedy out-of-stock issues, organize shelf and display layouts, position point-of-sale materials, check product expiration dates, and rotate inventory appropriately.
- Collaborate effectively with store employees to communicate tasks, promotional goals, sales activity, and client objectives.
- Provide outstanding customer service and nurture effective relationships with store staff to achieve company and client goals.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in merchandising or sales roles.
- Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
- Able to work autonomously while also interacting positively with others.
- Competency in basic computer tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Physical capacity to lift and handle items weighing between 30 and 50 pounds and the stamina to stand for prolonged periods.
