Job description
Position Overview
At Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, the F&B Service Expert role is centered on delivering an exceptional guest dining experience that goes beyond just serving food and drinks. The aim is to create memorable and distinctive experiences by actively engaging in various service-related activities including table setup, guest communication, serving, and maintaining cleanliness of the work areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure guests enjoy a seamless and pleasant meal experience through attentive service and interaction.
- Set and prepare tables according to standards and facilitate clear communication with kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in service areas and manage supplies efficiently.
- Adhere rigorously to safety guidelines, company policies, and quality standards at all times.
- Present a professional demeanor with appropriate uniform, appearance, and communication.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking on various surfaces, carrying items up to 25 pounds independently, and assisting with heavier items up to 50 pounds.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- Have less than one year of relevant work experience, with no prior supervisory roles necessary.
- No specific licenses or certifications are required for this position.

This position is full-time and based at Le Méridien in Lusail, Qatar. It qualifies as a non-management role. The work involves active movement including standing, walking, bending, and lifting within the physical demands outlined.
