F&B Service Expert

Position Overview

As an F&B Service Expert, your role goes beyond merely presenting food; you contribute to creating a memorable and distinctive dining experience for guests. This involves a broad range of duties, from arranging tables and liaising with the kitchen to serving guests and maintaining cleanliness in work areas and supplies. Each guest interaction is an integral part of the overall experience.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The position requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and navigating various flooring surfaces, including sloped, uneven, or slippery ones. You will handle tasks that include reading and verifying menu details visually and performing physical activities like lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Flexibility in body movement such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping is necessary.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas ensuring proper table arrangements.
• Effectively communicate kitchen instructions and guest requests.
• Interact with guests to provide attentive and courteous service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize workspaces and equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain quality standards.
• Dress in compliance with the company’s uniform and grooming standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Less than one year of relevant work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
