Position Overview

The F&B Restaurant Reservation Agent role at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Doha is centered on delivering exemplary guest service through managing restaurant bookings and assisting various internal departments to ensure seamless dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with different departments when necessary to optimize guest service quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following clean-as-you-go practices throughout shifts.
• Be prepared to stand, sit, or move continuously for the duration of the workday.
• Accurately read and verify data presented in diverse formats, including small print.
• Utilize computers and point of sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information.
• Use electronic communication devices, such as pagers and radios, to exchange information efficiently within the team.
• Engage guests proactively by discussing their stay, available property amenities, and local attractions.
• Follow all company-mandated safety and security protocols, report hazards and incidents to supervisors, and complete necessary safety trainings.
• Adhere strictly to company policies regarding personal presentation, confidentiality, and protection of company assets.
• Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, offer assistance to individuals with special needs, and express genuine appreciation upon their departure.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written forms; handle telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond attentively to coworkers' concerns.
• Handle physical tasks that involve moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of one year’s relevant work experience in a similar role.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are mandatory.

Additional Information

This position is full-time and based on-site at Ras Abu Abboud Street, Doha, Qatar. The role does not offer remote work options.
