F&B Hostess

Position Overview

This role involves warmly welcoming guests, accurately assessing party sizes, and seating guests efficiently by identifying clean and available tables. Responsibilities include assisting guests throughout the dining area, arranging tables and chairs, and setting proper place settings complete with napkins, clean silverware, and appropriate menus. You will ensure menus are clean, current, plentiful, and wrinkle-free while maintaining cleanliness in workspaces by adhering to clean-as-you-go practices. Continuous monitoring of dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest comfort is essential.

Safety and Standards

Adopt and comply with all company policies related to safety and security. Proactively report accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to management and complete all required safety training and certifications. Maintain a polished personal appearance and professional uniform at all times, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.

Guest and Team Interaction

Provide guests with a welcoming and courteous experience aligned with company protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally, answer telephone calls courteously, and foster positive relationships within the team to achieve common objectives. Address and respond respectfully to any employee concerns. Ensure all quality expectations and standards are consistently met.

Physical Requirements and Miscellaneous

This position requires standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods. Must be capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects up to 10 pounds unaided. Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
• No prior related experience or supervisory background is necessary.
• No licenses or certifications are required.
