F&B and Event Service Expert

About the Role

Join Westin Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar as an F&B and Event Service Expert, where the focus extends beyond simply serving food and beverages. This role is designed to create truly memorable event experiences by skillfully managing various service functions throughout the event lifecycle. From preparing table settings and coordinating with the kitchen to engaging with guests and maintaining cleanliness, your contribution ensures an exceptional experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety, security policies, and procedures, including reporting any maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Maintain a professional appearance with clean uniforms and uphold confidentiality of sensitive company information.
• Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests in alignment with company standards and communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests alike.
• Foster positive workplace relationships to collaboratively achieve common team objectives.
• Ensure service quality meets established standards.
• Physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods; reaching above head and below knees; and lifting, moving, or carrying objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of secondary education or an equivalent General Educational Development certificate.
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a similar role within food and beverage services.
• No supervisory experience or licenses/certifications required.
