Facility Management Engineer – Civil

Job Summary

The Facility Management Engineer specializing in Civil will oversee the delivery of civil maintenance and facility management services. The role demands ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, aligned with contract requirements, and adhere strictly to Qatar's regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise preventive and corrective civil maintenance operations.
• Perform thorough inspections to detect any defects related to building structure and civil works.
• Coordinate and manage activities of technicians, contractors, and general maintenance tasks.
• Generate detailed technical reports, develop work plans, and propose recommendations for corrective measures.
• Track and ensure work quality, observing service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain strict adherence to Qatar’s building codes, health, safety, environment (HSE), quality, and environmental protocols.
• Assist in project management and facility management operational support functions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in Facility Management and/or Project Management within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
• Possession of UPDA/MMUP Grade B or C certification is compulsory.
• Demonstrated expertise in civil maintenance procedures and practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Qatar-specific standards and building codes.
• Mandatory fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, methodical planning aptitude, and proficient problem-solving capabilities.
