Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Facility Engineer for our new SG6 site in Singapore. This role suits candidates eager to engage hands-on with electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting and who aspire to develop a career in critical infrastructure management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems regularly.
• Perform repairs, maintenance tasks, and equipment installations as required.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and promptly respond to triggers and alarms.
• Engage in troubleshooting and corrective maintenance efforts.
• Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety infrastructures.
• Facilitate issue escalation and assist in resolving facility-related problems or incidents.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors to coordinate safe and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure completion of maintenance activities in compliance with safety standards and documented procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and technical documentation onsite.
• Support infrastructure projects and assist senior engineers with upgrades and incident management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure ongoing site reliability and operational continuity.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Have completed an internship or possess over one year of practical experience maintaining mechanical or electrical systems.
• Experience working in facility environments such as hospitals, commercial buildings, shopping malls, manufacturing plants, airports, or similar settings is preferred.
• Strong enthusiasm for diagnosing and repairing technical equipment issues.
• Able and willing to work hands-on in an operational setting.
• Flexible to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must hold valid work authorization in Singapore without sponsorship requirements (Singapore Citizen, PR, or other valid permits).
• Capable of working onsite at the SG6 location in Jalan Tukang area.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with electrical power distribution, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, HVAC, chillers, or other mechanical systems.
• Experience operating Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Knowledge of safety practices and permit-to-work systems.
