Job Summary

The Dishwasher role requires maintaining dishes, cookware, trays, kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and sanitary state to support foodservice operations efficiently and comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and rinse food residue from dishes and either hand wash or load them onto dishwashing machines according to procedures.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays thoroughly to ensure sanitation.
• Polish silverware utilizing burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths as appropriate.
• Follow safety protocols strictly and maintain accurate temperature and chemical levels in cleaning processes.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized and compliant with safety and hygiene rules.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash properly, clean garbage containers using steam or hoses.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Carry out other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position located at Biomerieux, 515 Colorow Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84108. Working days are Monday through Friday with hours varying; details are provided during the interview process.

Compensation

The position offers a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
