Job Overview

As a Cleaner at Pizza Express located in Chandigarh, you will play a crucial role in upholding cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, service areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a smooth and sanitary operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen, service, and back-of-house zones.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize crockery including plates, glasses, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils.
• Properly dry, store, and keep utensils and crockery ready for use.
• Keep the dishwashing station clean and well-organized consistently.
• Assist kitchen staff in adhering to hygiene standards and food safety guidelines.
• Regularly clean floors, sinks, counters, work surfaces, and other specified areas in the kitchen.
• Ensure that service counters, tables, and surrounding spaces remain presentable and clean.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow garbage segregation procedures where applicable.
• Manage inventory and refill cleaning supplies like detergents and hygiene materials as needed.
• Support cleaning and housekeeping tasks during restaurant opening, operating hours, and closing routines.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols as required by the restaurant.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment with care and responsibility.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth daily operations.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both guests and employees alike.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 13,000 to 16,000 along with performance-based incentives.
