About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Planner to join Exyte for our Data Center projects spanning Northern Europe. In this full-time position based in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland, you will play a vital role in supporting project delivery through comprehensive programme development, monitoring of progress, risk management, and reporting to senior leadership. A strong background in 4D planning, particularly with Synchro 4D, is essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead all 4D planning and visual simulation activities across multiple Data Centre projects.
• Create and manage integrated 4D models that connect programme schedules (Primavera P6 / Asta) with BIM 3D models.
• Develop and enforce standards for 4D sequence planning, model integration, animation outputs, and digital data governance aligned with project and corporate guidelines.
• Serve as the main 4D coordination point between Planning, BIM, Construction, and Project Controls teams.
• Convert construction methodologies into practical and logical 4D simulations, covering civil, structural, MEP, white space, and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate closely with BIM leads to maintain model integrity, classification protocols, and work package development in line with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Champion best practices in digital planning across data center projects.
• Design standardized 4D planning templates and workflows for campus-wide developments to ensure consistency and repeatability.
• Assist in integrating 4D planning outputs with Power BI or other reporting dashboards when needed.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in construction or a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Data Center projects.
• Possession of certifications in project management or schedule management.

Technical Proficiencies

• Advanced skills in Synchro 4D software.
• Expertise with Primavera P6 scheduling tool.
• Proficient in BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, and IFC workflows.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction sequencing with focus on civil and structural works, MEP, and commissioning processes.
• Experience in integrating schedules with 3D models and managing model-derived quantity take-offs.
• Strong knowledge of WBS structures, coding methodologies, and programme governance procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with site teams, BIM managers, planners, and senior project stakeholders.
