About the Role

Design & Build Recruitment is collaborating with a nationwide architectural practice to recruit Experienced Architects for their expanding Brisbane office. These professionals will engage in some of Brisbane’s most dynamic retail, mixed-use, and multi-residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive design concepts from initial idea through to project completion, ensuring consistent design integrity throughout.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors to deliver seamless, constructible architectural solutions.
• Create detailed and high-standard project documentation, develop 3D models, and prepare compelling presentations.
• Confidently present design visions and maintain clear communication with clients and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits, address construction issues proactively, and manage design quality during the delivery phase.
• Assist in project planning, managing budgets, scheduling, and contribute to overall successful project outcomes.
• Keep abreast of new materials, technologies, and construction methods to enhance project innovation.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years post-Master’s degree experience in architecture.
• Registration as an Architect in Australia is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated history of successfully delivering retail, mixed-use, or multi-residential projects.
• Advanced skills in Revit and understanding of BIM processes.
• Proficiency or experience with Rhino, Photoshop, and InDesign is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities in engaging with diverse project participants.
• A creative approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong enthusiasm for thoughtful architectural design.
