Role Overview
The position of LT Panel Estimation Engineer is a permanent onsite job located in the Pune Division. The primary responsibility involves creating precise cost estimates for LT panels by analyzing drawings, technical requirements, bills of quantities, and client specifications. The engineer evaluates material needs, labor expenses, and fabrication methods; prepares quotations; and collaborates with procurement and design teams to verify pricing and technical details.
Daily duties include addressing queries from sales and project personnel, clarifying technical aspects with clients, and maintaining estimation databases and templates. Furthermore, the role ensures that all estimates comply with applicable electrical standards and supports negotiations with clients. The engineer will also contribute to enhancing the estimation process continuously.
Required Qualifications
- Capability to interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation for LT panels.
- Experience in cost estimation, quotation drafting, and budget assessment for electrical or panel-related projects.
- Familiarity with LT panel elements like switchgear, busbars, protection devices, along with relevant electrical standards.
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic costing or ERP software for estimation and material planning.
- Strong analytical and numerical aptitude ensuring precision in calculations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with sales, design, procurement, and project units.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; experience with LT panel projects is advantageous.
- Willingness to work onsite in Pune Division, capable of handling multiple requests and adhering to project schedules.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
