About the Role and Responsibilities
We are urgently seeking an HVAC Site Engineer to supervise and execute HVAC installations at project locations, primarily based onsite in Navi Mumbai. The role involves detailed interpretation of HVAC, layout, and MEP coordination drawings, along with hands-on management of installation tasks.
- Oversee and coordinate installation of ducting, chilled water piping, VRF/VRV systems, air handling units (AHU), fan coil units (FCU), chillers, pumps, and ventilation mechanisms.
- Monitor daily site activities ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Liaise with contractors, technicians, consultants, and other MEP teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely execution.
- Check and validate the quality of materials and workmanship on site.
- Maintain accurate daily progress reports and comprehensive site documentation.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure functionality and quality.
- Ensure proper execution of ducting, piping, insulation, supports, and equipment installations.
- Adhere strictly to project safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment onsite.
- Identify issues arising on site and collaborate with the project team to resolve them promptly.
- Ensure all project activities are completed within scheduled timeframes, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (BE), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC-related disciplines.
- Experience ranging from 0 to 2 years in HVAC operations or related fields.
- Well-versed with HVAC systems and their installation processes.
- Competent in reading and interpreting HVAC and AutoCAD drawings.
- Basic understanding of HVAC estimation and quantity verification.
- Strong communication and coordination capabilities to manage site teams effectively.
- Ability to direct site activities and oversee manpower deployment.
