Equipment Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking an Equipment Technician specializing in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment maintenance to join our team in Mayang, Assam. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain a variety of machines such as SPI, Fuji, GKG Printer, Reflow, and AOI to ensure smooth production operations adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SMT machinery including SPI, Fuji, GKG Printer, Reflow, and AOI.
• Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and regular maintenance of SMT machines to minimize downtime.
• Control machine tossing and manage spare parts inventory efficiently.
• Participate in new product introductions, conduct CPK and GRR studies, and handle machine installation.
• Ensure all production stations deliver products that align with company quality expectations.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing workflow to enhance productivity and throughput.
• Collaborate with line engineers, managers, and supervisors to develop work schedules that achieve 100% on-time product delivery for main production lines.
• Work closely with management and team members daily to elevate quality levels aiming for zero defect products.
• Promote safety and cleanliness by educating personnel and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ensure availability and proper working condition of equipment and tools as required for operations.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Proficient in line installation, alignment, and commissioning activities.
• Experienced in FUJI mounter programming and techniques for cycle time reduction.
• Strong skills in breakdown analysis, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a diploma qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in SMT equipment maintenance is required.
