Enterprise Architecture Lead

About the Role

An esteemed banking organization in Riyadh is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Lead to guide and develop the architectural strategy for their substantial transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive target enterprise architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains within banking environments.
• Design architecture roadmaps that underpin digital transformation efforts, core banking system updates, and integration projects.
• Establish architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks, and steer Architecture Review Boards.
• Evaluate solutions and vendor offerings ensuring designs meet security, scalability, and compliance with SAMA regulations.
• Collaborate closely with business, IT, and delivery teams to translate strategic goals into practical solution designs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to solution and technical architects within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles, particularly within the banking sector.
• In-depth expertise with core banking systems, payment platforms, digital channel technologies, and integration technologies including APIs, ESB, and microservices.
• Practical experience using architecture frameworks like TOGAF and modeling tools such as ArchiMate or Sparx EA.
• Strong familiarity with cloud infrastructure, security practices, and Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) regulations.
• Excellent communication aptitude and stakeholder management capabilities.
• TOGAF certification is an advantageous qualification.
