Enterprise AI Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an Enterprise AI Architect to collaborate with enterprise clients in designing, deploying, and expanding generative AI and agentic functionalities within the Adobe Experience Cloud. This is a consulting position focused on technical advisory rather than hands-on model building or research, aimed at professionals with profound architectural expertise combined with business insight and executive communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the principal technical liaison across multiple simultaneous client projects
• Develop enterprise-level architectural blueprints and strategies incorporating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and automated processes
• Assess clients' current architectures and AI/LLM readiness, identifying gaps relative to their future objectives
• Harmonize business objectives with IT strategies and deliverables for AI-powered capabilities
• Establish governance frameworks addressing data privacy, consent, access controls, and responsible AI safeguards
• Advise on metrics for assessing AI quality, precision, expenses, and latency
• Recommend security architectures to counter threats such as prompt-injection attacks
• Create documented reference architectures for RAG, agent orchestration, and LLM integration patterns
• Engage a range of stakeholders—including marketers, analysts, developers, data scientists, and C-level executives—via workshops and presentations
• Provide enablement and mentoring to optimize AI products and features
• Translate complex LLM architecture topics into clear technical and executive documentation
• Manage project expectations, scopes, and deadlines effectively across engagements

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years in client-facing roles with proven enterprise architecture experience
• Capability to convert business visions into technical architectures where Generative AI delivers tangible value
• Exceptional communication skills suitable for both technical teams and executive leadership
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as API-first, SOA, and TOGAF
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe Experience Cloud
• Experience with RAG, AI agents, and engineering considerations for accuracy, costs, and response times
• Understanding of LLM orchestration platforms (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)
• Proficiency in Python programming and API integration with LLMs and cloud-native services
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies
• Technical skills in HTML, JavaScript, XML, Java, REST services, and service-oriented architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including Azure OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock services
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
• Hands-on exposure to building or reviewing AI agents and LLM evaluation/observability tools like LangSmith and Datadog
• Industry-specific experience in sectors such as Retail, Media, Financial Services, or High Tech
• Relevant certifications in Adobe technologies such as AEM, Adobe Analytics, or Experience Platform Architecture
• Awareness of privacy and consent regulations like GDPR and CCPA and consent management platforms
