Role Overview
The Enterprise Account Executive position focuses on building strong relationships with senior executives from top IT vendor companies to boost conference exhibitor sales. It involves regular travel, an uncapped commission structure, and rewarding performance incentives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve quota targets by retaining and expanding Total Sales Bookings to drive net revenue growth for designated conferences or clients.
- Demonstrate expertise in account and territory management.
- Employ strong prospecting techniques and collaborate closely with lead generation teams.
- Maintain a sales pipeline valued at three times the sales forecast.
- Coordinate resources across various Gartner business lines.
- Focus on renewals by addressing client needs and fostering executive-level relationships.
- Develop comprehensive solutions aligned with contract offerings.
- Exhibit solid business insight and industry knowledge.
- Provide accurate revenue forecasts within a 5% margin over 30, 60, and 90 days.
- Comply with internal sales systems such as salesforce.com and adhere to booking procedures.
- Deliver engaging presentations following Gartner's standards.
- Travel to at least five conferences annually as well as client and competitive events.
Qualifications
- At least four years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in high-tech sectors including services, software, or hardware.
- Capacity to comprehend enterprise-wide challenges and devise innovative, integrated marketing decision support solutions for global organizations.
- Insight into challenges faced by C-level sales and marketing executives.
- Strong industry-specific expertise and client understanding.
- Willingness and ability to travel to conferences and client meetings.
