Role Overview
The Talent Sourcer will play an essential role in sourcing high-performing sales professionals to support Gartner's ongoing business expansion. Operating from our scenic North Sydney location, you will proactively identify, engage, and evaluate candidates for current and future sales recruitment needs covering regions including Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
This position welcomes candidates with up to 1-2 years of recruiting experience, emphasizing passion, curiosity, team orientation, and a proactive mindset over extensive prior experience, as comprehensive training and development will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify candidates through diverse channels, including direct applicants, Gartner's internal CRM with a vast candidate database, referrals, social media platforms, job boards, and AI tools.
- Create compelling marketing and social media strategies to attract candidates by effectively communicating Gartner's value proposition.
- Deploy programmatic methods to engage and nurture talent pipelines for open roles and future recruitment campaigns.
- Conduct prequalification interviews, assessments, and behavioral analyses to ensure candidates meet role qualifications.
- Maintain and build a consistent talent pipeline catering to current vacancies and forthcoming hiring demands.
- Foster strong, trust-based collaborations with recruiters and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
- Perform market mapping and gather market intelligence to inform sourcing strategies.
- Enhance networks by participating in user groups, blogs, and professional networking events.
Candidate Profile
- At least one year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, or research, preferably with exposure to sales hiring.
- Strong capabilities in researching and generating candidate leads using contemporary sourcing techniques.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Innovative and curious mindset adept at problem-solving and the creative application of recruiting methods.
- Proficiency in leveraging professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn for candidate engagement.
- Comfortable with social media and knowledgeable about using market intelligence for recruitment.
- Motivated by excellence, with the ability to thrive in metric-driven, goal-oriented environments.
- Emphasizes culture, collaboration, and building relationships across various channels.
- Organized and experienced with CRM or Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment processes.
- Adaptable and resourceful, capable of adjusting effectively to change.
