Job Overview
Join a reputable ISO 9001:2015 certified engineering and consultancy firm headquartered in Kolkata, established in 2004, specializing in high-voltage (up to 400kV) substations, transmission lines, solar and thermal power EBOP, and industrial power systems servicing India, the Middle East, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings for EHV substations, transmission lines, and industrial facilities.
- Develop general arrangement (GA) drawings, layouts, foundation plans, cable routing, and earthing system designs primarily using AutoCAD software.
- Incorporate mark-ups from project teams into drawings accurately.
- Coordinate effectively with other technical teams to ensure design consistency.
- Maintain and verify the integrity of drawing registers and documentation control.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Diploma or ITI certification in Draftsmanship, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, or Electronics and Instrumentation engineering disciplines.
- Have 3 to 8 years of professional experience in drafting, preferably within EPC, power, substation, or industrial sectors.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with MicroStation and Revit is advantageous.
- Experience working on EHV substations and transmission projects is preferred.
