About DSO National Laboratories and Role Overview
DSO National Laboratories is Singapore’s premier defence research and development organization dedicated to enhancing national security through advanced technological innovations. The Digital Division spearheads DSO’s digital transformation by establishing master plans, deploying IT infrastructure, and supporting corporate and R&D units with comprehensive digital solutions. As part of this division, the Endpoint Management Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and managing the organization's enterprise endpoint solutions to safeguard and optimize device usage across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain enterprise-wide endpoint management systems.
- Ensure all endpoint devices—including desktops and laptops—are managed securely, efficiently, and can scale according to organizational needs.
- Work closely with various IT teams to guarantee compliance, simplify software deployment, and improve the digital workplace experience.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for any incidents or service requests surrounding endpoint devices.
- Participate in full lifecycle management of endpoint hardware and software, spanning procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation such as system configurations, operational guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
- Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are expected.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and endpoint security standards.
- Experience managing enterprise environments with over 1,000 endpoint devices.
- Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and service management software.
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years focusing on endpoint management.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
- Competence in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Comfortable working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong analytical abilities and skill in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Expertise in endpoint security tools and best practices.
