Handling complex, sensitive cases and cultivating strong partnerships with local HR and leadership are critical responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Employee Relations, APAC.

  • Document investigations clearly and prepare detailed reports communicating findings and suggested actions.
  • Implement disciplinary measures, including issuing warnings when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all cases, evidence, and outcomes.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and legal teams to manage workforce changes, including reductions, ensuring risk assessments are thorough.
  • Manage employee relations cases and performance management issues from intake through resolution for designated business units.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and HR professionals to address behavioral and performance concerns effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze case data using Salesforce's case management and AI-enhanced tools for workflow optimization.
  • Contribute to developing and updating employee relations and HR policies and templates.
  • Work alongside HR stakeholders to maintain compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on employee relations topics and trends to management.
  • Offer employee relations support for other APAC locations as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum seven years of HR experience including at least two to three years specifically in employee relations or a similar dedicated role.
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting detailed and fact-based employee relations investigations and reporting.
  • Proficient business-level English communication skills across reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Experience supporting HR functions in India-based locations.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles with proven ability to coach managers through employee issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and escalation handling aptitude.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Competency in resolving conflicts and making decisions aligned with company policies and business objectives.
  • Effective use of AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and data analysis in HR operations.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in centralized employee relations or HR models.
  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth technology companies.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, HR Acuity, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and advance organizational goals.
  • Experience coaching and guiding HR professionals and managerial staff.
  • Track record of employing best practices to improve service delivery.
  • Skill in solving complex problems with innovative approaches.
