Key Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of various technical components including electronic repairs, LCD displays, cash handling machinery, power supplies, and ticket printers.
• Utilize your expertise in component-level repairs and comprehension of blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Use advanced techniques in BGA and surface mount device repairs.
• Diagnose electronic faults proficiently using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Operate computer systems effectively, including Microsoft Excel and Word, Inventory Management, and Electronic Repair Reporting software.
• Maintain excellent communication and multitasking abilities while managing priorities and organizing tasks efficiently.
• Handle physical tasks involving the safe lifting and maneuvering of parts weighing up to 15kg.
• Work autonomously to troubleshoot and resolve electronic repair issues employing strong problem-solving skills.
• Comply fully with safety, wellbeing policies, and legal standards pertinent to gaming operations.
• Participate actively in training sessions and adhere to proper manual handling protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess Certificate IV or equivalent qualification in electronic repair; an associate degree in electronic engineering technology is advantageous.
• Have a minimum of five years' experience as an electronic technician.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of electronic systems, wiring, and related equipment.
• Be able to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics.
• Be skilled in the use of manual and powered tools.
• Familiarity with electronic codes and adherence to organisational safety standards.
