About the Role
Aristocrat Gaming is seeking a driven Field Service Technician to join its expanding team in New Zealand, focusing on delivering exceptional service for gaming equipment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our gaming machines, enhancing the player experience. The position is remote-based, covering the Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas, and blends technical challenges with client-focused service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, repairs, and installations of gaming appliances.
- Manage inventory to maintain sufficient stock for maintenance and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly resolving client issues.
- Execute routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Work closely with the technical team to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults.
- Keep detailed records of all service activities and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies consistently.
- Offer training and user support to clients on equipment operations and upkeep.
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations to address urgent service needs.
- Travel as necessary to client sites to carry out field service operations.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams to identify and meet service requirements.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
- Possession of a valid full New Zealand driver's license is mandatory.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service delivery.
- Technical expertise or background in appliance servicing and installation preferred.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team setting.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to participate in weekend on-call duty.
- Knowledge of inventory management is advantageous.
- Keen interest in continuous learning and adapting to emerging technologies.
