Job description

About G4S Care & Rehabilitation Services

G4S Oakhill Secure Training Centre (STC), located in Milton Keynes, MK5 6AJ, is a facility dedicated to caring for children aged 12 to 18 who have been remanded or sentenced to detention. These children often face vulnerabilities and complex social and emotional challenges, and the centre strives to provide a secure, supportive environment to help them develop vital life skills and promote positive behavioural change. G4S's mission is to ensure each child feels safe and supported as they heal from trauma, celebrate their strengths, and prepare to make healthier life choices. The organisation works closely with families and community entities to assist in children's constructive resettlement and transition whether back to the community or to other custodial centers.

  • Collaborate with differently skilled maintenance staff to promote cross-skilling and comprehensive maintenance coverage.
  • Participate in emergency call-out duties and provide cover during absences.
  • Assist with maintenance activities related to project and improvement developments to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with current legislation and regulations.
