Fitout Engineer

Job Overview

This role requires a professional with a robust technical foundation in interior fitout, joinery, and construction techniques, complemented by the skill to interpret both architectural and MEP drawings accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects encompassing scheduling, resource allocation, cost forecasting, and managing relationships with vendors and contractors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Thorough understanding of applicable building codes, safety standards, and quality regulations relevant to interior fitout work in Qatar or the broader GCC area.
• Competence in using engineering and design software tools such as AutoCAD or equivalents, alongside basic project management applications.
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Effective communication and teamwork ability to collaborate efficiently on-site with diverse professional teams and clients.
• Capability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to deadlines, and resolve issues in a dynamic and creative setting.

Preferred Experience

Prior involvement in fitout assignments linked to branding, retail, or commercial facilities is strongly preferred, with experience within Qatar or the GCC region being a significant advantage.
