We seek an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare detailed cost projections and support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive electrical estimates for construction projects considering all costs including materials, labor, equipment, and timelines.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents thoroughly to prepare accurate cost breakdowns.
• Assess and propose electrical systems and products prioritizing cost-efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to ensure precise job cost estimating.
• Stay informed on latest industry trends, new products, and pricing for materials and labor.
• Perform risk assessments and enforce electrical safety standards at every stage of projects.
• Offer technical guidance and support to project teams as required.
• Continuously compare actual project expenses against estimates and investigate any variances.
• Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client discussions as necessary.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in electrical estimating or a closely related role within the construction sector.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, products, and industry safety protocols.
• Excellent numerical aptitude and ability to produce precise estimates.
• Experience with project management and estimating software tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of fostering robust relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Preferred educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in electrical estimating or related fields is a plus.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and high accuracy are mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary between $110,000 and $140,000 annually.
