Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Design Engineer to develop electrical schematics and design control panels. Candidates should possess a Diploma or B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 0 to 5 years of experience. The work schedule is from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM with Sundays off.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, power and control circuit diagrams, and General Arrangement drawings using tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Plan panel layouts including busbar routing and component placement for various types of panels including PCC, MCC, APFC, and PLC/automation panels.
- Select appropriate switchgear components like MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, meters, cables, and busbars based on load requirements and technical specifications, and compile the Bill of Materials.
- Conduct load and short-circuit calculations and determine accurate sizing for cables and busbars while ensuring compliance with IEC, IS, and IEEE electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with the assembly/shop floor teams during panel wiring and fabrication, assist in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and troubleshoot any design-related issues to ensure quality execution.
Additional Information
Salary will be determined based on the candidate's performance during the interview process. Weekly off is on Sunday, providing a fixed day off every week.
