About the Role and Company
Our client is a respected Florida-based manufacturer specializing in the design and production of precise coaxial cables and cable assemblies, tailored for demanding commercial, industrial, and technological uses. Committed to accuracy, dependability, and customer satisfaction, their team collaborates closely with customers to create engineered cable products that meet stringent quality and performance demands. Leveraging advanced manufacturing technology and seasoned technical knowledge, they support both standard and custom solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components and systems.
- Conduct tests and perform troubleshooting on assemblies or final systems to verify proper operation.
- Interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and process documents for assembly guidance.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing and assembly challenges.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all work and used materials.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Support the training of new assembly staff.
- Perform routine upkeep on assembly tools and machinery.
- Execute thorough quality inspections on finished products.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Expertise in electrical controls systems.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows, quality assurance, and processes that optimize production and distribution.
- Technical competency with electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to comprehend and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and process documentation.
- Excellent analytical and meticulous problem-solving capabilities.
- Skilled in using hand tools, soldering equipment, and assembly machinery.
- Capable of thriving in a team-based work environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically able to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
