Key Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project criteria to create precise cost estimates
• Conduct quantity take-offs for labor, materials, and equipment to develop comprehensive bid proposals
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and resolve challenges
• Source and compare competitive pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and value engineering options without compromising project standards
• Ensure all estimates meet industry codes, regulations, and safety requirements
• Compile and present detailed bids including cost breakdowns, scheduling, and risk evaluations
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing, and labor rates to improve estimate accuracy
• Support contract negotiations, handle change orders, and adjust budgets during project execution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in electrical estimating within construction, industrial, or commercial fields
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Accubid or equivalent platforms
• Understanding of electrical codes, industry standards, and NEC regulations
