Overview

This role is designed for candidates with a strong academic background who are passionate about working with innovative research and enhancing scientific writing quality.
Role and Responsibilities
- Critically review and polish manuscripts to enhance clarity, coherence, and readability, while maintaining the authors' original intent.
- Verify the accuracy and consistency of subject-specific terminology, conventions, and scientific reasoning tailored to the intended readership.
- Refine the presentation of intricate research results to improve their communication and readiness for publication.
- Ensure final manuscripts uphold the highest academic writing standards, free from ambiguous, illogical, or nonnative expressions; conform to specific job guidelines and journal formatting requirements when applicable.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Community Medicine, or Global Health is essential.
- Demonstrated scholarly achievement with 5–10 or more first-author research publications.
- Experience in peer-review processes.
- Capability to critically evaluate study design, methodology, statistical analysis, and result interpretation.
- Proven skills in meticulous scientific content review ensuring disciplinary precision.
- Excellent proficiency in written English coupled with strong attention to detail.
- Preferably prior involvement in scientific editing or academic publishing.
