Key Responsibilities

• Examine and enhance manuscripts to boost clarity, flow, and readability while maintaining the original intent of the authors.
• Verify that subject-specific terms, conventions, and scientific arguments are precise, uniform, and tailored to the intended readership.
• Enhance the presentation of intricate research outcomes to improve communication effectiveness and readiness for publication.
• Ensure that final edited manuscripts meet high academic writing standards, are devoid of ambiguous, illogical, or nonidiomatic phrasing, and conform to job-specific guidelines and the formatting requirements of the target journal when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a PhD in Biomedical Informatics, Health Informatics, or Bioinformatics is essential.
• A strong publication history with between five and ten or more first-author research articles is mandatory.
• Experience in peer reviewing scientific work.
• Capacity to critically evaluate study design, methodology, statistical analyses, and result interpretations.
• Proven skill in assessing scientific content for discipline-specific precision and accuracy.
• Excellent command of written English with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is advantageous.
