About the Role
Insightrush Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd. seeks a passionate and innovative Video Editor to become a part of their media team based in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. The candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging video content tailored for a variety of digital platforms while applying a keen sense of storytelling and awareness of current social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit diverse video content including news clips, interviews, reels, short-form videos, and promotional materials for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Integrate elements such as text, captions, subtitles, transitions, music, sound effects, graphics, and animations to enhance video appeal.
- Ensure all videos meet platform-specific formatting and optimization standards.
- Collaborate closely with reporters, content writers, and the social media team to maintain consistent branding and visual style.
- Choose suitable footage, imagery, audio, and effects that align with content goals.
- Complete all assigned video editing tasks within stipulated deadlines.
- Stay updated on social media trends, editing techniques, and viral video formats.
- Conduct thorough reviews to guarantee accuracy in video quality, audio, spelling, and overall presentation prior to publishing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent tools.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of timing, storytelling structure, transitions, and visual composition.
- Familiarity with various social media video formats like Reels, Shorts, and YouTube content.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Creativity paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to perform effectively under strict deadlines.
- Education background including a degree, diploma, or certification in Video Editing, Multimedia, Animation, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, or related disciplines is preferred.

Compensation
The salary offered ranges from 15,000 to 25,000 INR per month depending on the candidate's skills, knowledge, experience, and performance.
