Key Responsibilities

• Critically review and edit scientific manuscripts to enhance clarity, coherence, and overall readability, ensuring the original meaning is maintained.
• Verify the correctness and appropriateness of subject-specific terms, conventions, and scientific arguments for the intended readership.
• Present complex research results in an accessible manner to improve their communication potential and readiness for publication.
• Adhere strictly to academic writing standards, eliminating unclear, illogical, or awkward phrasing and applying journal-specific guidelines and formatting.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• PhD in Biomedical Informatics, Health Informatics, or Bioinformatics is mandatory.
• A strong publication history with at least 5 to 10 first-author papers.
• Experience in peer-review processes.
• Capability to critically evaluate study design, methodology, statistics, and result interpretation.
• Proven skill in assessing scientific content for discipline-specific accuracy.
• Exceptional English writing skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is desirable.
