Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine research manuscripts to enhance clarity, coherence, and readability without changing the authors' original meaning.
• Verify that terminology, conventions, and scientific arguments specific to the subject area are precise, consistent, and appropriate for the intended readers.
• Enhance communication and publication readiness by improving the presentation of complex research findings.
• Ensure manuscripts align with the highest academic writing standards, removing unclear or illogical sentences, following job-specific guidelines, and formatting according to target journal requirements when necessary.

Qualifications and Essentials

• Must hold a PhD in Biomedical Informatics, Health Informatics, or Bioinformatics.
• Possess a strong publication background, including 5 to 10 or more first-author papers.
• Experience performing peer reviews of scientific works.
• Ability to critically analyze study designs, methodologies, statistics, and interpretations.
• Proven skill in evaluating scientific content ensuring accuracy within the discipline.
• Excellent command of written English with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is preferred.
